The Howarth S30C is our new model student cor anglais. It is has a new design of key mechanism, specifically to help younger players and adults to hold the instrument comfortably and enable easier playing.
The Howarth S30C is relatively light in weight and has covered keys, making it ideal for the younger player. The instrument illustrated here is the conservatoire with thumbplate, or "dual" system instrument. This "dual" system allows the player to take advantage of alternative fingerings for some notes.
