The PB-203 has a solid sterling silver (.925) handmade head-joint that offers a colorful, deep timbre and a wide tonal range. By the use of nickel silver for the corpus and mechanism, the price of PB-203 can be kept markedly lower than the full silver models, with only a minimal concession in sound.
