Knochenauer Style (Fox K): A true Knochenauer shape is comprised completely of curves. There are no straight lines in the contour. The blade always flares outward with no inward curves.
Almost Knochenauer Style (Fox #2): These differ from the pure Knochenauer shape by including a straight segment, usually brief and near the tip. Otherwise, they are essentially Knochenauer shapes.
Modified Knochenauer Style (Fox #1 & #3): This is still essentially a Knochenauer style but will include a combination of straight and curved segments.
The Fox #2 is our most popular shaper. It is in the Knochenauer style of shaper, differing from a pure Knochenauer in the presence of a straight segment near the tip.
