Joplin's only rag-tango is a slow and melancholy piece that evokes a more gentle era. Good piece for contrast on a solo recital. Rhythm is basic (slow) ragtime but would be excellent teaching tool also for syncopation for younger soloist. Edited by Trevor Cramer.
